As part of a series of art installations Misfits Unified has been tasked to create for the Pueblo Colorado retreat center complex; we came up with this amazing concept to transform a simple above-ground swimming pool into this amazing Yellow Submarine sculpture. The Yellow Submarine sits just in front of the main building overlooking the beautiful view of the Cordillera Azul. The concept of the Yellow Submarine was drawn from the famous Beatles song, as such each members of the Beatles has been painted in each of the submarine windows in the same style as the music video. Sitting on top of the stern of the submarine is a giant squid clasped onto the submarine with its tenticles and gazing playfully at the pool.
